FRIENDS of SAN JACINTO MOUNTAINS COUNTY PARKS (FSJMCP)

Rising from sea level to almost 11,000 feet, the San Jacinto Mountains contain a spectacular variety of habitats from desert scrubs to alpine forests. the San Jacinto Mountains also have a rich human history extending from nearly 5000 years ago with the indigenous Cahuilla to modern day residents and transient visitors.

Since 1978, the Friends of the FSJMCP have been a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the San Jacinto Mountain County Parks of the Riverside Regional County Park and Open Space District (RivCo). The FSJMCP help to provide a variety of interpretive programs, exhibits, wildlife observation facilities, sensitive plant restoration, and educational and other resources for children as well as adults who visit to experience and appreciate these unique mountains.

We encourage you to become a member today and enjoy the benefits and satisfaction that come with supporting the FSJMCP. While financial support is welcomed and appreciate, we also facilitate various volunteer opportunities  so that you may support us with your time as well.
